Cramp Bark is known for the following actions

Anti - spasmodic - especially to the uterus. Nervine. Tonic and as a Uterine sedative

Known clinical indications are: Endometriosis. Dysmenorrhea. Osteoporosis. Uterine fibroid. Labor tonic hiccough Pain and spasms in voluntary muscles Painful spasm of hollow organs such as the stomach, intestines, ureters, uterus.

Chemical Constituents:

Bitter principle. Scopoletin - a uterine and small muscle antispasmodic. Valeric acid. Viburnin. There is not any known toxicity
